Associate (Contractor) – Refugee Investment Network

  • Contract

Company Description

Location: Nairobi (preferred), Kampala and Addis Ababa are also possible

Background
Forced migration and displacement is the defining social crisis of our time. The Refugee Investment Network (RIN) works to bridge the gap between an increasing number of investors interested in refugee lens investing (RLI) and the growing ecosystem of refugee-led and refugee-supporting entrepreneurs and ventures. RIN has established itself as the specialized investment intermediary that brings together the impact investing and blended finance communities to create long-term economic solutions to global forced migration. RIN’s mission is to shift the political and social dialogue about the value of refugees and help to unlock investment opportunities that create new jobs that measurably improve opportunities for self-reliance for refugees and their hosts. By doing so, RIN helps to build more cohesive, resilient, and sustainable economies and communities. More information about RIN is available on our website, refugeeinvestments.org.
